Our Mission

iRise Foundation Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to empowering and uplifting under-represented communities by fostering equity, inclusivity, and social justice. The purpose of iRise foundation is to empower and support first generation college students, veterans, and those without shelter. While supporting these individuals, we look forward to addressing systemic barriers and promote positive change through community-driven initiatives, education, and advocacy.

Our Vision

We strive to create an environment where every individual, regardless of their background, has equal access to opportunities, resources, and a voice in shaping their own future. By working collaboratively with community members, organizations, and stakeholders, we aim to dismantle the structures of inequality that disproportionately affect first generation college students, veterans, the unsheltered in eastern wake county and eastern North Carolina. Our commitment extends to providing culturally sensitive programs and services which address the unique challenges faced by these communities.
