Our Mission
Founded on July 2, 2024, iRise Foundation Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering first-generation college students, veterans, and individuals experiencing housing insecurity. We provide educational support, essential resources, and community-driven programs that create opportunities, promote stability, and empower individuals to achieve self-sufficiency.
Our Vision
To build communities where every individual has access to the resources, opportunities, and support needed to achieve lasting success and reach their fullest potential. By working collaboratively with community members, organizations, and stakeholders, we aim to dismantle the structures of inequality that disproportionately affect first generation college students, veterans, the unsheltered in North Carolina.

Community-Driven Initiatives
We engage proactively with underserved communities, delivering essential services and support with professionalism and care.
iRise Foundation has provided 400+ hot meals and 500+ toiletry bags to individuals without shelter in Raleigh, NC, and raised over $2,000 in 2025 for our yearly Children’s Coat Giveaway.
Educational Resources
We offer scholarships and educational workshops to support the academic success of first-generation college students throughout their collegiate journey.
Additionally, we provide targeted programming for veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness, equipping them with resources and skills to build sustainable, stable lives.
Housing
